2026 Rideau Lakes Skating Club Annual General Meeting
NOTICE OF MEETING
Dear Members of the Rideau Lakes Figure Skating Club,
On behalf of the Executive Team, you are formally invited to attend the Rideau Lakes Figure Skating Club Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The AGM will be held on Sunday, May 31st, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Upstairs Hall at the Youth Arena.
Immediately following the AGM, the Club will host an Awards Ceremony to recognize the accomplishments of our skaters throughout the season. Families of skaters who will be receiving an award will be contacted directly to ensure their attendance.
Board of Directors – Nominations and Elections
Please note that all Board positions are one-year terms. At the conclusion of each year, all positions are vacated, and members of the Club must nominate individuals to be elected to the board of directors.
Positions will be decided at the first board meeting following the AGM and may include:

Treasurer/Registrar

Secretary

Directors at Large including:

Assessment Coordinator

Head of Fundraising
-
CanSkate Parent Representative
-
Carnival Chair
All nominations must be submitted no later than May 17th, 2026 at 1pm. Elections for these positions will take place during the AGM.
